Picturesquely situated at the foot of the famous Benedictine monastery complex and only 2
kilometres from the Hermann Hesse city of Calw, our hotel offers you everything you need
for a varied short holiday in the northern Black Forest, a perfectly organised conference or
an unforgettable family celebration.

As a historic building, already mentioned in 1450, it has been rebuilt with great attention to detail in recent years and offers the comfort of a 4-star hotel.

We have 12 single rooms, one junior suite and 29 double rooms. The Klosterschenke, the Uhlandstube and our Hesse Room – a homage to the writer and poet who often stayed here – invite you with their very special flair.

Our Mediterranean sauna, the 26° C warm indoor swimming pool (6 x 12 m), a fitness room with professional equipment and nearby golf courses will make every athlete’s heart beat faster. In the immediate vicinity you will find peace and quiet and relaxation in the unspoiled nature of the northern Black Forest during walks, bike tours or hikes.
